NBA Ikeja Pays Courtesy Visit to LNSA, Seeks Stronger Security Collaboration

The Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja Branch, paid a courtesy visit to the General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan, FISN, as part of efforts to strengthen institutional collaboration and enhance community safety across Lagos State.

The General Manager, who is also a legal practitioner and member of the Nigerian Bar Association, warmly received the delegation and expressed appreciation for the visit. He reiterated the Agency’s commitment to working closely with relevant stakeholders, including the Bar, in promoting safety and public order.

The NBA Ikeja delegation was led by its Chairman, Mr. Adeniyi Quadri, Esq., who commended the LNSA for its proactive role in maintaining peace and supporting security architecture within the State. He reaffirmed the Branch’s commitment to initiatives that advance justice, protect human rights, and promote a secure environment for legal practice and the general public.

The Chairman particularly emphasised the need for collaborative efforts to address security concerns within and around court premises, stressing the importance of safeguarding lawyers, litigants, judicial officers, and the integrity of the justice system.

The visit concluded with both institutions reaffirming their resolve to sustain strategic engagement and partnership in the collective interest of ensuring a safer and more secure Lagos State.
